You can mount the old manual prime lenses to your DSLR cameras by getting the M42 mount adapter. One of the main advantages of using analogue prime lenses is APERTURE! most of standard 50mm analogue lenses have the aperture from f-2 even up to f-1.4 which gives us amazing. shallow depth of field. If we wanted to get a good DSLR lens with aperture f1.8 we would have to spend about 200 pounds.
Notice- Unfortunately, analogue lenses do not sharp on infinity with Nikon cameras. Nevertheless, I think that it's still worth to play with these lenses.
